A.   Public Hearing: License to sell alcoholic beverages

Geir S. Kilen, owner of Palm Beach Restaurant to be built at 2180 Highway 20 West, McDonough is requesting a license to sell alcoholic beverages (Presenter: Dottie Green, Business License)(Exhibit #7)

B.    Presentation: Comprehensive Transportation Plan Project Update (Presenter: Cheri Matthews, Assistant Director of Planning & Zoning / Parsons & Brinckerhoff Representative) (Exhibit #8)

C.   Modification to a Zoning Condition

Charles Dobbins of Fayetteville, GA MC-06-06; Commissioner Mathis, District 2 (Presenter: Ray Gibson, Director of Planning & Zoning) (Exhibit #9)

Charles Dobbins c/o Greg Ivey of Fayetteville, GA requests a modification for two (2) zoning conditions for property located within the Steele Forest Subdivision between Steele Drive and State Route 3. The property is located in Land Lots 198 and 199 of the 6th District, consisting of 47.26+/- acres. The request is to modify two (2) zoning conditions regarding greenspace. The Zoning Advisory Board recommended approval on June 22, 2006.

Luke Contracting, Inc. of McDonough, GA RZ-06-24; Commissioner Holder, District 1 (Presenter Ray Gibson, Director of Planning & Zoning) (Exhibit #10)

Luke Contracting, Inc. c/o Andy Welch of McDonough, GA requests a rezoning from RA (Residential Agricultural) to R-2 (Single-family Residence) for property located on the southeastern corner of the Snapping Shoals Road and Wynn Road intersection. The property is located in Land Lot 86 of the 8th District, consisting of 40.25+/- acres. The request is for a single-family residential subdivision. The Zoning Advisory Board recommended approval on June 22, 2006.
