Subdivision Sign in the Right of Way

A.   Manor Developers, Inc. requests to locate a subdivision sign within the center median island of the Wyntercreek Estates subdivision entrance way, south of Jonesboro Road, Commissioner Mathis, District 2, (Presenter: Stacey Jordan, Chief Planner) (Exhibit #7)

 

Modification to a Zoning Condition:

B.   Manor Developers, Inc. of Conyers, GA; MC-07-09; Commissioner Mathis, District 2 (Presenter:  Brecca Sherow, Planner II) (Exhibit #8)

Manor Developers, Inc. of Conyers, GA requests a modification to a zoning condition for property located on the southern side of Jonesboro Road.  The property is located in Land Lot 105 of the 6th District, consisting of 80.819+/- acres.  The request is to modify a condition regarding building materials.  The Zoning Advisory Board recommended Approval on October 25, 2007.

 

Rezonings:

C.   West Panola, LLC of Stockbridge; RZ-07-20; Commissioner Basler, District 5, (Presenter:  Andrella Slaughter, Planner II) (Exhibit #9)

West Panola, LLC of Stockbridge, GA requests a rezoning from RA (Residential-Agricultural) to C-2 (General Commercial) for property located at 553 Fairview Road.  The property is located in Land Lot 199 of the 12th District, consisting of 4.07+/- acres.  The request is for the development of a retail center.  The Zoning Advisory Board recommended Approval on September 13, 2007.           

D.   Presentation regarding Re-zoning Signs, comparing Henry County to other Metro Atlanta Counties (Presenter: Ray Gibson, Director)(Exhibit #15) (This item was previously placed on the December 18th agenda)

VIII.      County Manager Comments

A.   Resolution requesting authorization to reimburse the Henry County Water and Sewerage Authority for eligible expenses incurred by HCWSA during the creation of the NPDES Phase II compliant stormwater program (Presenter:  Rob Magnaghi, County Manager) (Exhibit #10)

IX.            County Attorney Comments

X.               Public Comments – Citizens are allowed to voice county related concerns, opinions, etc., that are not listed on the agenda, during this portion of the meeting.  (All persons wishing to speak for public comment must sign in with the County Clerk prior to the beginning of the meeting.  You must sign your name, address and specific topic you wish to speak about or you will not be recognized.  You will be able to address the Board for five (5) minutes.)

XI.            Upcoming Meetings:

                                                          1.      Tuesday, December 18th @ 6:30 p.m., regular BOC meeting

                                                          2.      Monday, December 31st meeting has been cancelled

                                                          3.      Thursday, January 10th @ 6:30p.m., Joint Board of Commissioners and Board of Education meeting

                                                          4.      Monday, January 14th @ 9:00 a.m. and Tuesday, January 15th @ 6:30 p.m., Regular BOC Meetings

XII.         All County Offices will be closed on the following dates for the Holidays:

                                                          1.      Monday, December 24th thru Wednesday, December 26th for Christmas

                                                          2.      Tuesday, January 1st for New Year’s Day
