MODIFICATION TO A ZONING CONDITION

A.   Cameron Properties, Inc. of McDonough, GA; MC-07-07, Commissioner Bowman, District 4 (Presenter:  Brecca Sherow, Planner II) Exhibit #12)

 

Cameron Properties, Inc. of McDonough, GA requests a modification to zoning conditions for property located on the northern side of Miller’s Mill Road.  The property is located in Land Lots 36 and 61 of the 11th District, consisting of 73.667+/- acres.  The request is to modify conditions regarding building materials and roof pitch.  The Zoning Advisory Board recommended APPROVAL September 13, 2007.

B.   Michael T. Turner of McDonough, GA; RZ-07-22; Commissioner Holder, District 1 (Presenter:  Brecca Sherow, Planner II) (Exhibit #13)

Michael T. Turner of McDonough, GA requests a rezoning from RA (Residential-Agricultural) to C-2 (General Commercial) for property located on the southwestern side of Old Jackson Road, north of King Mill Road.  The property is located in Land Lot 171 of the 7th District, consisting of 6.048+/- acres.  The request is for the development of a roller skating rink.  The Zoning Advisory Board recommended DENIAL of C-2; however, they recommended APPROVAL of C-1

                

C.   Lovejoy Realty of McDonough, GA; RZ-07-26; Commissioner Mathis, Distict 2 (Presenter Stacey Jordan, Chief Planner) (Exhibit #14)

Lovejoy Realty of McDonough, GA requests a rezoning from RA (Residential-Agricultural) to PD (Planned Development) for property located on the west side of Selfridge Road near Lower Woolsey Road.  The property is located in Land Lots 16 and 17 of the 3rd District, consisting of 96.63+/- acres.  The request is for a Mixed Use Planned Development.  The Zoning Advisory Board recommended APPROVAL September 27, 2007
