Rezonings:

A.     West Panola, LLC of Stockbridge, RZ-06-58, Commissioner Basler, District 5 (Presenter: Ray Gibson, Director) (Exhibit #7)

West Panola, LLC of Stockbridge, GA requests a rezoning from RA (Residential-Agricultural) to C-2 (General Commercial) for property located on the north side of West Panola Road, west of Danner Drive. The property is located in Land Lot 198 of the 12th District, consisting of 8.40+/- acres. The request is for the development of a retail center. The Zoning Advisory Board recommended Approval on February 22, 2007.

B.     Four Kings Group, LLC of Morrow, GA, RZ-06-65, Commissioner Mathis, District 2 (Presenter: Cheri Hobson-Matthews, Assistant Director)(Exhibit # 8)

Four Kings Group, LLC of Morrow, GA requests a rezoning from RA (Residential-Agricultural) to R-2 (Single-Family Residence) for property located at 3736 and 3748 Jonesboro Road. The property is located in Land Lots 72, 73, 88 and 89 of the 6th District, consisting of 156.5+/- acres. The request is for the development of a sing-family residential subdivision. The Zoning Advisory Board recommended Approval on February 22, 2007.

X.                 County Attorney Comments

A.     Annexation by City of Locust Grove of approximately 2.199 acres from RA to R-2 zoning classification. The property is located at 143 South Barnes Drive, at the cul-de-sac of that street. The property is to be combined with adjoining acreage for development of a single-family subdivision at R-2, that was zoned prior to annexation into the city by the Henry County Board of Commissioners.(Presenter: Patrick Jaugstetter, County Attorney)(Handout #1)
